Okay, be gentle...this is my first ever flip! I took an image of some daffodil stems - one in the center had a twist to it - and did a flip. I then went into Topaz Adjust and added a Sketch-medium preset. I went back to PS and added a filter/glass/tiny lenses/invert layer. I finished it off with a high contrast levels adjustment. Is it too much? I added the glass layer to add to the "V" shape that was already there. Did I go too far?
Nice graphic image Jules with bold lines and good contrast. Not a huge fan of this filter, but that's just me. Looking forward to more!
Jules, Nice graphic look and the colors are lovely. The filter effect seems to make me a little dizzy. Probably just because of the upclose view. Great first flip!!!:)
Hi Jules, I think it is quite nice! I like the half-tone effect that you ended up with and the colors are very pleasant. You can go as far as you like here, so don't hold back! ;)

I like the chevron design you have created and the colors. The center seems to be a bloom about to open to me.

Julie, I like this. It is one of those images that because of the soft center line, doesn't focus on the flip. Nice job and thanks for sharing the steps. Reminds me of looking through a vase to the stems within.
Love the colors and patterns. Would love to see this one without the filter.

Thanks Artie, Denise and Paul. I kept wanting stronger greens, too - I think that's why I went with the filter in the OP because this one just seemed to lack something. I tried pushing the greens in saturation and hue but they just weren't right. Oh well, live and learn!
