Well it seems as a lot of tern photos are being posted...it is that time of the year.
Here is one of mine....BABY STEP....!!
This one was at 10am -- backlit however must of had some light reflection off the sand....
    Baby is somewhat rim lit....
Hope you like it and of course all comments welcomed.
    Best,
    Mike

Love the open bill and raised foot of the chick. Light angle was tough... A crop from the bottom and flash, maybe at zero, would likely improved it :)

Michael, nicely done, like the theme, and the look, just wish the mother's eye was a bit more prominient; The crop off the bottom is also an excellent idea!

Really cool, Michael, you need to go in the afternoon for good sun angle. Good EXP considering the back light and nice comp. You got no feeding? Remember we have an interaction project starting Thursday :)

Great suggestion by Artie. Why does he always say this stuff AFTER the image is taken? :)

That said, outstanding image of these two birds. TFS!

:) and thanks cl. I forgot to mention that a load of flash would also have improved this one. And I have said it all before the fact in ABP II (916 pages on CD only).

This is so cute. I like the low angle here.
