    Nice wing position and nice timing,I would prefer a more uniform bg!

    Great pose! And pretty cool scene. The whole image is just a bit busy for me. Also looks a bit soft.

    Great timing for the landing, showing the outspread wings. Although the BG is busy, we cant choose it.

    I'm gonna buck the trend on this ... although the BG reeds do cause me to lose just the slightest bit of attention to the harrier, I think this shot would have lost some visual appeal without the reeds. The light on the outstreached wings and the broken merganser quickly lead my eye back to the hawk. I like seeing the environment in this scene, it adds to the context.
