    Default Juvenile Oystercatcher

Besides the chicks already posted here from Nickerson Beach taken this weekend, there were older osytercatchers. I don't know enough to guess when this one hatched. There were even older ones that were almost the size of adults. If anyone knows please inform me.

D300s with 600 VR and 11.4 tc. 1/1250 at 5.6 (auto) iso 200. EV +.3 but I had to add another .5 stop in processing.

Not sure if its cute or not!:D Good pose, and good low angle. I like the shell in LRC, but I am not crazy about the larger OOF object. Were there some additional objects cloned out in LRC? Just above the "Allan" of your name there is an OOF patch that should be in focus. Sounds like there is alot of action going on there!

Got to love that little fuzzy tail and the red starting to show in the bill. Nice head angle and catch light. Good observations by Daniel's hawk eyes :)
I may just clone the dark part of the object. Thanks for posting it, Alan.

Thanks Daniel. I am pp in a humid room where the temperature is at least 87. My brain isn't handlling details too well.
Fabs, thanks too. I decide to get rid of that entire thing.
Hope the focus and oof areas look more natural now.

Alan, It was very nice to meet you the other day. I like the walking pose and sharp details. Great eye contact.

The repost is sweet. As they get older they get uglier. This one is still a bit cute. I love the low angle.

Nice job Allen. I really like the low angle and the pose of the bird.
