This was created early this morning when the tide was at its lowest and the herons were after bait fish. These birds are great fun to observe and to photograph.

Classic hunting pose. Good eye capture, leg upraised, water drops! I would think about taking a bit off the left side so the heron was not so centered.

Wonderful image Grace, love the pose with the trail of water falling off the raised foot and the light is beautiful I also love the red eye.

A bit off the left is a good idea Otherwise a beautiful image. Love the light and reflection off the water.

Good hunting pose, I like the lifting foot and trailing water drops. I also like the golden reflections on the chest. Nice simple comp...have you thought about an even more pano-ish crop with some off the top?

Pose, light and composition look very good, particularly the golden light on the chest. I might sharpen the legs a bit more.
