Hey Don, Great day shooting, nice pose and head angle but the grass is disruption for me and I would take the time to remove it.

Ticks all my boxes. David great repost.

For someone so young you have a wealth of experience we all could learn from. Were you working out the formula of 'relativity' in the Avitar? :D

Appreciate all the recent input David, thanks.

Sure. In this case, setting white point did the trick.

    1. Open a levels (or curves) adjustment layer.
    2. Choose the white dropper.
    3. Click where the red dot is below.

A suggested refinement: First double-click the white dropper icon. That will open the color
picker. The default RGB values for that dropper are 255.255.255. I set my default lower,
usually 242.242.242, to avoid clipping whites and losing fine details.

Nice repost by David, now it just needs the small OOF grass removed from the nose! I love the tall grass habitat though, very appealing. Only other suggestion is that I would have pointed my lens a little more to the left to place the deer more at right.

Good point. With all that nice grass around the deer, enlarging the canvas is easy.

Don, Per our conversation this morning it was not to hard to remove the grass with careful use of the clone stamp it would have been easier on the full size original and did a quick color correction with a curve adjustment layer using the same technique as david but I also set the black point at 20.
