    Here is another from my recent trip to Norway.

    Having found these birds and taken the first images from the car, I decided to make use of the camouflage clothing and lie down in the grasses, very close to the car, to get a lower angle. The light direction wasn't ideal but I think the lower angle improved the background.

    Very nice shot, love how just the grass around the bird is in focus...overall great shot!

    Hi Austin, I really like the use of habitat here and the nice low angle.I think I would have exposed more for the shadow side of the bird and let the side facing the light go to the edge of over exposing I think it would have made for a more dramatic image.

    Good strategy that paid off. Perhaps you could warm the image a tad?

    Getting down and dirty has worked well here Austin, and just love surrounding grasses. Lovely pose, and I would try and lighten the eye if possible.
