Even though there was plenty of food in the water these two greater shearwaters went at over some fish skin.

Good capture of the interaction, I particularly like the pose of the bird on the left. Too bad the sun was not behind you and I might desaturate a few points. It looks as if the critical focus in front of the birds.

Did you go out with the BBC and if so how did it go?

thanks for the critique. I wen out with the BBC, I was a great trip in a number of ways, the seas were calm (last year sprained and an ankle fracture and Mal-de-mer were present) bright sun, but no rare bird findings. but we had sea turtles, dolphins, a sperm whale, possible Sei whale. The boat caught 3 tuna, so everyone got tuna steaks to take home, what a difference in taste with fresh tuna rather than with store bought tuna.. The BBC has two overnight trips scheduled, July and August.

Thanks, Myer! Maybe I can go on one of the trips.
