    Default Evening Grosbeak

    Evening Grosbeaks are a new bird for me this summer, and they are real stunners! This one was perched on a gate, so I cropped in a little tighter.

    I didn't know they spend the summer this far south in your area. Eye contact and sharpness look very good. There are some artifacts in the BG, maybe from jpg conversion.

    Hey Doug, Great shot of a cool bird! Awesome sharpness as usual! I just finally found one of these guys for my bird photo challenge (#311) yesterday in the Sierra! Didn't get anything a fine as this though!
