    Default Bighorn Ram

I made this image in Yellowstone NP in February, 2008. I have some closer images of this ram, but I liked how this one shows him in his winter habitat.

    D2Xs, 200-400 mm, 1.4x, f/11 @ 1/250, -0.67 EV, ISO 100, Gitzo Tripod, Wimberley II Head.

    Thanks for looking.

    Hi Ron,
I like habitat shots too and have enjoyed your work before. This one has just a bit too much rock for me personally though. I do like the pose, comp, and blue sky with tree.

I like the composition with the ram in the corner looking diagonally back into the frame - just wish I could see an eye better. I would probably lighten up the blue in the sky.

Fine environmental image. Drove by this guy a hundred times when I was there... I agree with Steves suggestions...
