Default Junior buck - more high ISO work

Shot was taken at dusk because I wanted to try my lens out at f/4.5. Didn't realize shutter speed was quite so low until I got home and reviewed exif.

    7D + 500mm f/4.5, ISO 1250, f/4.5, 1/50, +1/3 EV, Dodgepod + beanbag

I tried to process it so that it retained the soft and muted evening light look. Not sure if this one will get a pass or a fail, so it will be interesting to see the outcome.

This is a beautiful shot. I love the FG and BG. Glad you managed to get it sharp at 1/50! ISO 1250 should be no problem for the 7D unless you're really cropping hard.

    Well done! TFS!

Hi Meesh, I love the composition. The flowers in the FG are a big plus. Not sure if there's a color cast.

Interesting composition and very nice setting and eye contact. There is a slight magenta cast on my monitor. You could selectively add green in the color balance.

Hi, Gets a pass from me. I also like the setting and subject's pose. Muted backround with the addition of flowers in the foreground being a plus. There does appear to be a magenta caste with good advice by Axel...

You did great holding steady !!!!
Good call on the color cast easy to remedy !! Might have given a little more room to the right to include tail !! Like those yellow oof flowers !!

HI Meesh - love the setting and the yellow flowers really add to this.
Might just be me but feels like it could use just a little CW rotation.
    Keep em coming :)
