    Default Monterey sunset

This is a 5 image HDR from the exact spot that the "Monterey Bay rainbow" HDR was made, only about an hour later. I waited for the rain to stop and then shot, using the nice orange areas around the sun as my base exposure point. I had to quick mask out another photographer on the middle rocks! I sure that he got a great shot (but I was there first) Oh well, I knew I could evict him! Also evicted a bit of sun glare. HDR created using Photomatix, NR with Noiseware Pro, selective sharpening with Nik. These HDR files sure don't hold up when downsized, at least for me? C&C welcome.

Another nice HDR landscape Dan! For my taste I might crop about half of the rocks on the bottom. I'm curious about the light on the rocks in the LLC, as I can't figure out where the light is coming from. Would be tempted to tone that down a bit. Very nice!

Lovely vista Dan, might take a pinch off the bottom too, and try and get some detail out of the rocks in the middle. Sky and comp are excellent. Yes the IQ really suffers when you downsize HDR, I usually find I have to go around 50 to save for web. Must be some major compression going on:)

Dan, You really did a great job w/ this one also. I love the golden sun tones and the clouds. I agree w/ Jackie regarding opening up the middle rock a little. The overall image is really fantastic!

Very nice image and application, Dan.

Agree with Kerry on the LLC rock. It keeps drawing my eye away from the rest of the scene. But love the view shown.
