    Cropped from horizontal. Raining gently.

I like this image. I like the leading lines to the owl, the BG & the tree itself. A good environmental shot.

very nice Sara, I really like the tree as well, not much to change here from my point of view, maybe a bit more dof to get more of the tree sharper

It must have been a thrill to get this photo! Its a very nice composition, although I can't say I especially like the pastel green background. Very nice, indeed.

The background was actually a meadow of wildflowers.

Sarah - I agree with David that your heart must have skipped a beat when you walked up on this critter. Such a big face with close-set eyes. Good work taking advantage of a great wildlife in habitat setting. Your composition is very nice as well. It will be fun to see more shots from Idaho, such a beautiful place.

Very cool find, I like the perch, composition and BG. I took the midtones to 0.95 and sharpened the bird a bit more.

I like the original as I find the repost a bit too contrasty. I think it lost the mood you captured in the first one.

Great perch and pose, excellent comp, and gorgeous BG!
    Congrats on a wonderful image!

I like what Axel did regarding the midtones but may have oversharpened a bit for my taste

Love the overall feel of the image, and the habitat is superb. I may have opted for more DoF?
