    Hi All,

More Barrow Eider shots. Got this one later in the week, improving upon our previous best images of the species. I did full body portraits at 500mm then decided to go in close with the 1.4x TC. Gotta love friendly birds. Hope this looks OK as I am posting from the laptop, still in AK.

    700mm
    1/800 sec, f/8
    Mode: Manual
    Metering: Multi-segment
    ISO: 400

Thanks for looking and good shooting!

    Brian,

I think you have a good one here. The whites and blacks are great, exposed very well and everything pin sharp. Love the water drops on the plumage. I increased the exposure just a little and it really helped IMO but that might be due to my Notebook as I look as these early in the morning in work before my day starts.

    Great image TFS

    Brian:
Good comments from Michael, nice techs, neat looking duck with eye ring and tuft on back of head.

I like the bow wake and drops.

The brightness looks about right on my monitor.

Have really enjoyed the Barrow shots from the workshop.

    Cheers

    Randy
