    Gary,
Very nice shot, shows concentration and love how silky the water is.

+1 with Troy's comments. The BG does have a distracting tree though. I like the water reflections on the bird!

I like the eye intensity and the windblown tailfeathers. A touch of CCW rotation might be needed. Beautiful.

Hi Gary, Love the bird, water and reflection. The background branch, not so much though not sure you could have done much about it.

    Good Shooting!

Gary, Lovely shot, great water and reflection and intensity as Brian said. Background branch a bit distracting but because the rest of the photo is so pleasing the distraction is minimal.

    Gary:

Good comments above. In retrospect, perhaps a slightly larger f/stop to help throw the branch even further out of focus. Because the bird was parallel to you, I think you could have gotten away with a bit less DOF.

Love the intense stare, well exposed.

    Cheers

The most appealing part of the image is the silky smooth water!! Very cool. I find that branch in the BG quite distracting though. Good look of concentration on the egret. I agree with Danny about CCW rotation.

Agree on the CCW rotation, 1 degree should do it...I love the silky smooth textures.
