A fun shot showing a skimmer bringing back a needlefish, they bring back all sort of fishes including puffers... Fabs got one of those :) Image shows the buildings which I like but not to everyone's liking and which the head was not intersecting the light strip on the shore but still like the image.

    Comments welcome and much appreciated

Nice exposure and with a fish even better. When did you shoot this, morning?

I went out just now and was struggling a bit with the constant light changes that we have in FL as they were for the afternoon rain. Morning is probably better.

I try to expose as close to the right edge.
I will try some with AV when I go back.

Al - like this a lot. I don't think the buildings detract. Love the fish.

Great wing spread, fish, bird position and exposure. I like the way the bird's wing is free of the bg buildings. But to me there are a lot of disparate bg elements -- lower white area beneath, water, trees, buildings -- that taken all together seem a bit distracting even though the bird shows nicely free of them. Personal preference, I guess. Water line looks more or less horizontal, but buildings are tilted which suggests need for some CCW rotation. (Of course that will make the water line slanted.)
