    Default Iceland HDR/Fotosketcher

This is an image of the highlands of Iceland in May, the rocks are all lava, nothing much was alive up there..looked alot like Arizona Desert without cactus..
The image above was a 6 image CS4 merge, then I manually altered the exposure and made 5 different copies, using merge to HDR to combine them. Over saturated the basic image colors..When it was all done, I used Fotosketcher to create an oil canvas.

I really like taking these merged images using my 300mm lens, I get an effective image like the one above but with incredible details, very large though..the image above when merged and cropped is about 60 megapixils.

    Thanks for looking

Very nice HDR/fotosketcher/pano Paul! You threw the kitchen sink at this one! I like the color pallete and it does look like an oil painting! Good work!

Nice digital painting Paul. Love the colors and perspective! Thanks for sharing this workflow, I'm going to have to give it a try...

Nice colour palette Paul and I really like the contrast between the FG and the sky.

Hey, Paul - they're both great! I love the crop and the reds really lead your eyes all the way through the image to the mountains. Great job:)
