    Hi,
    Here is another shot in the Kingfisher series from last Saturday. I can't really tell if this is a mature Kingfisher or a juvanile that is farther along in development. The markings would indicate it as being a female for sure.

    Stats: Canon 50D, 500 f/4 + 1.4X, 1/125 sec at F/8, ISO 400

    Maybe a bit more room on bottom and right.

    very nice. I would say more room on the left and remove the extra catch light

    Thanks everyone for your wonderful comments. Can't go any bigger unless I create some new canvas as this is close to full frame. That funny catch light is me reflected in his eye :).
