Dan, The moody sky combined with the golden tones in the rocks are very pleasing. I think the rainbow is a plus and adds a little something special to the image. I keep looking at it and it feels like it might need an ever so slight rotation or it may be an optical illusion. The FG rock is large and seems a bit close to the frame-but hey I am not a landscape photog so maybe one of those guys will chime in.:)

Beautiful depth. Wonderful colors. Rainbow nice touch.
Agree with Denise that foreground rock is large but don't feel it blocks entry into the rest of the photo. I did pull the screen up and cropped above that rock (wasn't sure if cropping out would remove the HDR depth) and enjoyed the image as much that way as well (the 2 smaller rocks make an intersecting line with the upper rock formation.
However - no question - I really like the image.

Hi Dan,Good handling of HDR. I'm looking at the horizon line and measured the height on each side and they are very close. Denise is right about the illusion and that is why I measured it.
The image has beautiful light, dramatic sky and a rainbow to boot. In this case the foreground is not so overly dominant that it's interfering with me moving past it. I'm looking at it as foreground interest. The only thing I might want is a little more water underneath it. Good one Dan!

Dan this a really nice HDR, golden colors, sharp details..It does look like it slopes to the left, but I think its ok.

Nice HDR work Dan! I really like the way most of the highlights are on the right side of the image, under the rainbow. Nice expansive feel and dramatic use of light. Love those clouds!

I can't get over how beautiful this is! That rock in the FG blows me away and the color of the ocean is so deep and "precise"...I'm absolutely in love with this! Makes me miss Monterrey all the more...

Thanks to all for the nice comments. I too felt that the image was tipped but I do believe that it is an illusion. It was lightly raining while I waited for the sunset at Point Pinos that day, hence the rainbow! I will post the sunset asap that I shot by simply turning around from this spot!
