Im not sure if this suits the project or works as an image. Most times this would have been binned, due to low light, thus no ss, but thought a shot in Fabs' creativity would do. This was basically a grab shot, as we are very fortunate to capture these guys in the open, and in flight. They normally scamper across the ground.

I can see where you are going but I think the head needs to be sharp for it to work.

The spotted plumage makes this interesting, BG looks good, too. I only wish the eye would look less blurred.

I love the blue in the wings and the contrasting BG. Could you work a bit on the eye to make it look sharper?

The wing blur is very nice, so is the BG and overall colours...but I agree the head needs to be sharper to work perfectly. Close though!

Joe, Axel, Fabs, thanks a stack for your feedback. Ive had a look at trying to recover the eye. I just cant seem to do any better. Any work I try and do, makes it worse. There's not much to play with.:( OH Well.

Dan, Harshadbhai, we were typing at the same time. Thanks for your feedback too.

I do have one in full light and tack sharp.

I wish for a sharper head too, but understand it's hard to get the right balance!

The head is not sharp enought or, right the opposite, it is not blur enough but I really like this one and sure it is creative. Love the amount of movements that the image transmit, the nice BG and light. Very good intention, way to go!;)
