    This image was taken on the Anhinga trail early on a foggy morning - before the sun burned through. Given what these birds eat, it is interesting (to me, at least) that they always seem to have perfectly clean heads and beaks - not to mention their interesting personalities that makes it fun to observe these birds. 20D, 70-200 f/2.8 (at 200), 1/60, f/5.6, ISO 400. Comments welcome.

    Super sharp. A nice shot. I like the crop, perhaps I would have had more open space above and below, but this works too!

    Works for me Steve. I like how you have him entering the image. Very sharp and nice detail in the dark feathers. Soft light is wonderful. BG is good as well.

    Very nice details. I'm sure these guys have meticulous grooming habits, and the featherless heads help too.

    Really a beauty. Love that soft green bg. Details and eye contact add a lot. Good stuff.
