Default Are LR3 and CS4 Compatable?

I am currently using LR2 and CS4 and considering upgrading to LR3. In the past when upgrading LR2 with the newer RAW converters and then opening the converted, adjusted images in CS4 I would get an error message from CS4 stating that the RAW converters were not compatible. Upgrading ACR in CS4 solved the problem.

I wonder if I upgrade to LR3 will I get the same message in CS4 and not be able to reconcile due to CS4 being "older" than LR3?

Are you on a Windows or Mac computer? On my Mac, I have CS4 and CS5 installed and there are no problems.

Maybe someone else can pitch in who uses Windows. I would think that LR and PS should be able to coexist in Windows, too.

When I go from LR3 to CS4 I get a dialog box that tells me I need Camer Raw update to 5.7 I think But when I go to Adobe site that update is for CS5 only.
I just hit cancel and it still goes into CS4 just fine.
