    Always see these skimming the water so I thought it a bit different to get one in flight over the dune grasses. Cropped for comp. Wish for a little more grass on the bottom , but this is what was there.

    I like the placement of the bill against the far wing. Sharp and a good EXP.

    Nice composition choice. I like the way you've left a bit of habitat on the bottom. I might have automatically made it a simple sky shot but I like this better. Beautiful bird and nice position.
