Love the head angle and plumage. The BG is stunning and sets off the plumes nicely. The UR OOF leaves are a tad distracting to me. (I might consider removing the one OOF limb over the shoulder) I do like the sense of place this image has.

Beautiful detail in the bird. I'm with Alan on the oof veg. and I might lighten the eye just a tiny bit. It is too beautiful to be dark.

Nice breeding color, not sure if I have any of them this red.
Agree with the OOF over the bird is too big. TFS.

    Fabs,
I love this as presented - the green off-sets those gorgeous colours so well -and I do not find any of it distracting :)

Great seeing eye, Fabs!! Agree with Alan about the OOF branch. THat BG adds atmosphere.
Troy: Often here in Australia many are much much redder in breeding plumage..wonder as to the cause??
    Best regards
    Rod

Great colours and detail in this bird with exceptional colouring. I agree with the OOF branches and would like more space on the left.
    Excellent shot.
