    Default Rough-legged Hawk ?

    Not sure about the ID for this one but I think its a Rough-legged Hawk, image from my trip to Cody Wy last Jan. Difficult to approached but lucked out when he settled on the ground and was able to crawl up to him !!

    Love the Western feel of the habitat and bird pose. I too would like to know the iD for sure.

    beautiful pose and nice display of habitat, lots of good images from before. BTW the single strand passing through the chest is a good test for content aware fill in CS5!

    Getting down and dirty has paid off here Al, just love the angle. I like this different pose with the erect tail, and a good complimentary BG.

    Al, I think your ID is spot on. Great shot of an unusual posture. If it was breeding season I would say she is presenting to a male.
