Like the treatment of the background - adds to the surreal atmosphere that is created by the mushroom.
    Nice image.
Fly under the mushroom cap on right side?
Definitely know what you are dealing with as far as mosquitos:(.

Steve, I love the HDR look when it is meant to be fun. Nice composition. It has a 3D look to it. I might crop some of the OOF FG out if it were mine. I like the tilted trees in the BG -they add some interest.

Good eyes, Deborah! At least the skeets keep the martins happy.:)
Thanks denise. Sometimes... everything tilts with the 14mm :)

Steve, this is very interesting. I like the tonal range and the way the mushroom stands out from the bg. Some leaves on the right of the stem (about half way down) are a little distracting and could be evicted. Nice colors!

Steve, Fun image. I like the golden color of the 'shroom and the curling stem. Love the shooting angle.

    Nice image and application, Steve.

Remember the skeeters of my past life, in the land of the frozen tundra and mammoth skeeters. You can have them. We have them here, but easy to avoid and they do eraticate them in the populated areas.

Love the down low perspective Steve. I might lower or change the opacity of the blues. Love the curve of the mushroom stem.

I really like the composition, view angle, tonal range, and especially the background; great frac work. Must have had a substantial DOF. Very nice image. regards~Bill

Thanks Bill. Appreciate your comments. I'm having fun with the 14-24mm. At 14mm the DOF is amazing even a f/6.3. Now if it only had screw on filters :)
