    Default Peek-a-boo

Posting it here as I am not sure if this comp works. Let me know. 40D. 400f5.6L wide-open. iso 640. 1/250s. very low light.

I posted a traditional portrait in wildlife today as well. Spent some quality time with this cutie on Saturday.

    Thx in advance.

I can see what you were going for with the image. To me, the bokeh looks too flat and lacking in detail, and it would be nice if there was some grass blade detail left in it. As it is, it looks like green fog.

Agree with comment, this is close and could have worked in a big way !!

If the eye were totally clear would try moving some detail form the top to the bottom? Might be a fun project !!

I love this type effect - this is sooooo close!!
A little too much negative space at the bottom - and wish for the rabbits nose to be up just a little to clear from the heavier OOF foreground.
    So Close!!

Hi,I like the peek a boo look you've created. Agree that I would take some off the bottom and go with Lance's comment regarding seeing a clearer nose. Good effort and creative...

I really like the shot and agree that a bit too much space is on the bottom. Love the use of bokeh to make a picture look more artistic.

How about this one then? Does this work better? not exactly peek-a-boo though.

I had a go at recovering some of the nose on #1. I like the fact that bunny is facing the camera on that one. But #2 is a
winner, too. Might try bringing the subject out a bit more.

David, thx for taking the time as always. fantastic job on that nose. I agree that my images are a bit flat and will work on the raw file for contrast boost. there is a white balance issue too due to low light that I'll go about fixing.

Thx everyone. this is the reason I post only on BPN and nowhere else :-)

Brighten up Pane 7 and you have the winner. You needed to be a bit higher in the original post as just too much of the lower face is lost....
