    Default Common Tern with Fish

I made this at Nickerson. Photographing birds in flight is not too difficult there, getting a nice background is a different story.

Sweet all around, Axel, I particularly like the OOF grass, very painterly.

Nothing wrong with this BG. Beautiful wing spread and composition. Bill seems a bit over-saturated and seems as if the wings should have more detail.

Its all about the angle here. Love the forward position, and the fanned tail. Overall well exposed, especially on the blacks of the head, sharp, and the catch a bonus. Well captured. Did I mention a great BG too.

looks very good Axel, love the bank and the fish, the plumage on top just looks a tad soft to my eyes.

I like the pose, BG, and detail across the back. And as Stuart mentioned, the angle is great.

Posture with fanned tailfeathers, meal, comp, and nice OOF habitat BG works nicely. Nice exposure. Well done Axel.

Lovely light and the fish is a bonus! Posture also perfect. Perhaps the head could be a tad sharper?
