    Default Morning light wabbit

A rabbit hopped in close in bright morning light. I like trying to work with backlighting, does it work for this image?

My own C&C is the nearest ear seems to be a titch out of the focus plane, so more DOF might have been helpful. There are some hot highlights, and I would have preferred to have taken the photo from a lower angle.

I used negative clarity on the BG and a little bit of vignette to darken the corners and highlight those ears.

    7D + 400mm f/5.6 lens, 1/500, ISO 400, f/6.3, minor crop to 8x10

Hi Meesh Love this image !!!

Would go more vertical cropping from the back to accentuate the ears, also darken the corners to draw attention to center action :) .. excellent image !!

Hi, You seem to give a pretty good self critique. Agree with Al regarding a crop from the right which will accentuate the ears and put more room in front of the rabbit. The backlighting is the strength of the image and works well. Finally, I would of added a bit more room to the top...

Hi Meesh - love those backlit ears.
Would consider going much tighter - to really highlight the ears.
Personally would have preferred a bit of a head turn towards you.
    Good show :)

Thank you, Dave and Lance. I re-cropped it to vertical and printed - looks very decent. :D
