Fantastic flight pose, love the blur in the wing tips that suggests movement. Great to get definition in the eye. Overcast helps with the EXP control.

Well exposed, and I like the forward wing position. I would maybe move him back to the right in the frame.

Besides what has been said I like the soft colors in the image. Of course, that has to do with lighting conditions as Fabs mentioned.

Like the wing position a lot, and you've got good eye contact. You might be able to pull a little more detail out of the blacks. I would move the bird slightly to the right in the frame.

Cool pose, soft light and eye contact. I would sharpen the bird more and agree with Doug on the composition. There is a bit CA around the B/W borders that should be easy to fix in the RAW file.

nice bank and wing position and great look! But it looks a bit OOF to me as the head is soft and plumage has no detail.

Thanks for the suggestions. Here is a repost. I cropped from the real of the bird and I tried pulling out some more detail out of the blacks. Let me know if this works better.
