    Default Moose in Winter

Found this animal close to the one posted by Fabs but don't think its Moosie Moose. Tough conditions for photographers with lots of snow falling .... not sure how the moose felt !! Shortly after it lay down and went to sleep !! Found two males and four females.

    Comments welcome and much appreciated

Great early winter feel to this. A taste of the coming white season for the moose illustrated by the visible snow falling in front of the coat. Comp and cool color works well. Very nice job Alfred.

Al - great image in what looks like difficult conditions. Never knew moose had light colored legs.

Brrrr! Looks like tough conditions to photograph in for sure Al. I think capturing the 'white of the eye' works great here. At iso1600 and 1/40 this is really impressive!

Think Fabs has pipped you on this species Al. :D But as you say, tough conditions.

Very nice memories of a sweet trip. I'm sure that's not our Moosie Moose.
    Nice winter mood.

Very cool Alfred (pun intended:D). I think the image is very effective in presenting the feeling of winter weather. Very nice!

Looks cold for sure Alfred. I think this is the bull we had near Moose Junction.

Strong moody feel to this one Alfred. The low angle of the head adds to the somber mood.

Like the falling snow and the cold feeling. Like how you got the white of the eye as well.
