    Gang,I'm on a Laptop from St Geroge Island, and not sure on the brightness of this stinking dell laptop.First time processing on laptop, boy just "Ain't" the same. So here we go:
    Canon 7D
    500mm
    F 6.3

    + .33
    Cropped, cloned debris at feet

    Hi Don Not bad at all, could go slightly lighter (very little) and brighten the eye ! Like the placement in frame !! Excellent !!!

    HI Don - Like it - a tad dark and a little more sharpening for my tastes - particularly to the eye.

    Thks Gents, will compensate a bit more, had glare on this screen, and now as i moved to better lighting i can see it's slightly dark

    .. saw a link not long ago for a gismo to be used with the laptop, perfect angle every time !! Maybe someone remembers the link !!

    Shot looks good to me. Well composed and nice detail. Maybe could use a bit of sharpening and contrast and brightness.
    Not familiar with this Heron, not in my book. Is it a variation of the black crowned night heron?
    Is this the St. George Island south of Tallahassee? Any oil there?

    yes, no oil yet so far.... thank goodness! booms everywhere, and on standbye,,,The locals are very worried as apalache lives and dies with oysters, and seafood! Fingers crossed, however the winds are favorable for oil within the week... SAD !!!:(:(
