Fabs - This is the shot I dreamed of getting at Glacier N.P. last summer. I love the pose and comp and I like the way the moose pops in a not-so-saturated and painterly (Artie word?) background. I love your work ------and Al ain't too bad either.

    ... thanks Danny :)

Danny this was a great trip, Dale found the moose in a trailer park !!!! Gros Ventre Campground ! He was very tame and accommodating but the cows were not. Chased a few people into and under campers :)

I've seen so many examples of campgrounds producing great opportunities. I got my only keeper crow shot in a campground last winter in Missouri and my only good jack rabbit shot at one in the Badlands. Well, anyway, that shot doesn't look like it came from a campground.....that's for sure.

Beautiful shot Fabs. I like the line of tree trunks leading back into the frame and the golden yellow surroundings created by the light shining through the leafy canopy. THe moose looks like a magnificent specimen.

Magnificent creature shown in his environment, I'll forget all references to camping grounds! :D

Excellent image, Fabs. Plenty of room around the moose, soft light and colors, the season is moody and obvious. Very nice job.

Hi Fabs, one of the nicest 'habitat' images I have seen for a long time.

From the position in frame, the soft gentle colours of the fall, to the stance of the moose and overall feel, all spot on. Looking at the techs, the high ISO looks really good and impressive, just curious how it looks say at 16 x 12?
