    Very nice composition, acceptable head turn and good feather detail. Not familiar with the bird myself but it could be a little darker? Maybe adding some black to the Neutrals in Selective Color. PLease take this with a grain of salt, since I have never seen the bird "in person" :)

    Very nice!
    Try darkening the whole image a bit, and bumping the blue sats. the females BB's don't have a lot of color, but the blues are nice.
    Seems a tad over-sharpened from here..

    I like the simple comp. Agree it could go a touch darker. Color and sharpness looks good here.

    I prefer the exposure of the repost, but I do think the image is suffering from a bluish colour cast (not counting the actual blue feathers:)) with a wee bit of magenta mixed in there too. Instead of saturating the whole image, you could selectively saturate the blue feathers with the sponge tool (soft brush, saturate at 8-10%) Good profile image.
