    Captured at Satwiwa, in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. Cloned out a couple of problem twigs. Converted in LR2, then CS4 for final tweaks.

    50D, EF400mm f/5.6L
    Manual mode, f/5.6@1/2500 ISO 400 WB 5100K
    AI Servo autofocus, hand-held no flash

    Hi Kerry, I like your image, very relaxing. The bird's eye is sharp and the catch light is nice, good feather detail, and well exposed. I especially like the creamy two-colored BG. I would crop from the bottom at least half the space between the frame and the bird's feet.

    Hi Kerry Main thing is the bottom ... sure like the smooth top but the perch would minimize, good call by Ricardo !!!

    Hi Kerry - lots to like here - love that BG - exposure looks spot on, Good HA/eye contact - sharp as a tack.
    I would also crop a little from the bottom.
    Good show :)

    Hi Kerry, All techs well handled with nice soft lighting and good overall angle.I agree about cropping some off the bottom. If there wasn't such a pleasing blend of colors I would recommend a crop on top also but I like the look...
