Finally had a chance today to create an image for this theme. I used pyramids, 10 pixels, depth 30, random and then cropped the image to get the vanishing point of the extrude down in the LRC. Any comments and suggestions would be most appreciated.

Nice colours Chris and a soft quality to the light. Glad you squeaked one in! Like the very fine extrude setting.
Christopher, very nice use of the filter! Your application is like a texture, which I know you love to use, and it works really well. Very subtle, like a dry brush technique. Lovely!

Christopher, This has an almost dainty feel to it which is impressive given the extrude filters usual results. Nicely rendered.
Christopher, Very beautiful image! I agree with what has been said. You have tamed that filter down from the choppy look I always ended up with to a very nice, smooth sweeping effect. I love the crop that makes everything move up and left. Great job!

I tried doing a few of these and didn't find any I liked. I like the very fine effect you chose!....looks like it's exploding off the screen! Very nicely done!

Thanks everyone! I wasn't really sure if I was going to come up with an extrude image that I liked, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked here. :)
