I had this shot of a little bluebird on a big hunk of wood and thought it would make a nice OOTB image. Love that Fractalius filter, seems like the possibilities are endless!

    I Really like this, Kerry.
I'd like to see a bit of blue on the bluebird, though.. :)

A new species, where do you come of with these names Kerry! Really like the effect, especially the blues and greens in the BG. Nice PP work.

Kerry, I love the effect on the BG and the perch. I wish the bird was masked back in or at least some opacity of the bird. The BG circles are terrific!

I love everything about this - the colors, the swirls, the composition and especially the title. This is moving me closer to breaking with some bucks to get Fractalius.

Kerry, I love the way it turned the bg into a Van Goghish Starry Night.:) Very whimsical.

Great composition, Kerry. I agree, the possibilities are many. For me the wood block is a bit overpowering. I think a bit of blue/mask on the bird may shift the focus to the bird. love the bg. excellent pp.

Thanks everyone! As a bit of an explanation, I should say that my idea for this one (and a couple of others I've done) is that the subject and perch have merged into one object, as if the bird were carved out of the wooden post. Strange things happen in the land of Fractalius... ;)

Hi Kerry, I can now see your vision and it has come out really well... well seen and executed. Thanks for sharing.

    Hey Kerry,
Wow! I think the BG turned out excellent....the texture in the circles is great but the contrast and texture of the post and bird take it over the top!!! Outstanding!

Beautiful effect, Kerry! I love the swirly BG, it reminds me of stained glass. Nice texture to the bird and post and beautiful colors. Well done! :)
