Nothing fancy here. I just masked back some of the details after using extrude. Can you tell whose eye it is? I must have been working on this about the same time Cheryl posted her 'gator, so I decided to go ahead and submit this one. Thanks for looking!

    Interesting image and application, Cindy.

What caused the random, wavy, lines on the right? Other than that. Interesting. ;)

Hmmm, could be an elephant? Nicely done whatever it is! Like the motion and the eye a lot!

Cindy, My money is on an elephant. I love the abstract look and the color tones-nicely done.

It does look like an elephant eye. I like the color and the sense of movement.

Cindy, It's got to be an elephant eye (my favorite eye). I really like the color toning.

You all correctly identified the elephant eye. Thanks for all your comments.

Mark, I'm not sure if you're referring to where I masked back the elephant skin or those resulting from the extruding. I didn't use any other filters.

I love the eye and the application of the extrude filter. I am amazed how many creative ways everyone has been able to change the way it is applied.
I like the color of the image - I am drawn to monochromatic tones and when used properly (as here) they can create a dramatic presentation.
I do find for me that I want a little more 'something' on the left side - darker lines maybe ? .

I was going to say horse:). Quite compelling Cindy, just seem to notice the wavy lines (the other side of the face?) a bit too. But overall really like this one.

Cindy, I love the colors in the extruded area - subtle and blend well together.

I didn't have a clue as to animal, but I was also leaning toward horse probably because I was influenced by my interpretation of the lines at the bottom just to the right of center. They appear to be outlining the side of a horse's head.
