Just had to return last week one more time (5th) to visit the remaining few Ospreys whose chicks hatched later on. The place is just amazing as those of you who have been there know. Most of the Ospreys are gone. Where have they gone? They migrate to South America (mostly Colombia and Venezuela) via the same route each year...the Floridia Keys to Cuba, on to Hispaniola and then to South America. The adults will follow these land routes but some of the inexperienced juveniles will actually fly over water, non-stop, the entire 1300 plus miles (with age comes wisdom) So until next year when they return......

do love the image a great capture imo would use shadow and highlights and tone down the whites a little or you can go back to raw and use the recovery slider congrats!

Can't wait until they return. Definitely a great place to visit. Great wing position. Whites slightly a little over.
    Congrats

    Hi Ken

Image looks great and not much more you could do !! Like the pose, sharpness, exposure and space given in frame. Processing wise would increase contrast a bit just on the bird, could also use the dodge/burn tool at 12% in shadows .. burn some of the dark areas for increasing contrast, a great tool to use for selective areas. Excellent image !!

... btw would lower saturation on the blue some.
