    Sharp, good exposure, nice COMP, and a sweet pose with the bird looking down. I like it despite the lack of eye contact.

    Nice capture Gary, I like the unique preening pose. Maybe a bit more light around the eye area?

    Can add using fill flash would have helped the eye area Probably lowering the SS the light would have reached !!! I like it a lot !!!

    Nice pose and composition. I wish for a touch more light on the eye area.

    There is a little bit of a halo around the dark tail area.

    I like the fact that the head is even with the birds foot. It shows the claws very well and the downward head position is a plus in this type of image. Nicely done Gary.

    Beautiful preening pose and excellent detail and I agree with the above comments. What I like the most about this image is the unusual pose . Fine work Gary !
