I added a bit of Fractalius to this. I was drawn to the feather and it's shadow on the bird. I liked the end result. It felt "beachy" to me.

It's lovely Denise! I really like the soft look and the minimal fract effect. Excellent feel and I think the bits of vegetation on the sand add a nice touch.

Beautiful image, Denise! The gull's pose is great, and I really like the soft feel and muted colors. The bits of green vegetation add to it.

Beautiful image, Denise. I love the low angle and the split horizon in bg. The touch of green with soft palatte makes it stand out.

Denise, the little bit of green and the feather really make this image:) It does feel very "beachy" to me.

Very nice Dennis! Good composition, subject and effect. I would touch up a few places, like on the left leg(green) and a few other places that have slight blurs outside of the bird's outline. regards~Bill

Great feel and pose D. Like the nice low angle too. If it were mine I would take out more of the seaweed to put more focus on the bird. My .02 for the evening:)

Denise, I love this one! It has such a soft, dreamy feel to it. The color of the water is beautiful and I like the three layers of colors. The blue of the water goes great with the color of the sand. The feather and the shadow of the feather really give it so much interest. Agree about a little gardening to weed out some of the seaweed to give more emphasis to the bird or maybe just mute the green a bit?
