    One of the first test flights! I got to see these hawks go from chicks in the nest to flying. Very cool! On this day, they were flying pretty well but the landings were a bit iffy...

    I added canvas on left, otherwise full frame. Painted the clouds into the sky with a brush in CS4.

    50D, EF400mm f/5.6L
    Manual mode, f/5.6@1/2000 ISO 400 WB 5100K
    AI Servo autofocus, hand-held no flash

    Looks good to me...the pose, details and the sky. I would sharpen the head area though since it looks a bit soft to me.

    Agree with Desmond but what a sweet image Kerry Proud of you !!!!

    Excellent wing postion, lots of detail, great looking clouds !! Minor PS tweaks are always possible but love it as presented !!

    Hi Kerry, Agree with Al and Desmond...well handled for reasons stated above. I would also do a bit of selective sharpening on the head but otherwise...good job...

    Excellent shot! I think that warming it up a bit by increasing color temp, saturation would help. But I am not sure. TFS!
