    Default Noisy Grey Headed Gull.

Another Grey headed gull from this past weekend. I like the sweet light in this, and just a pity the tip of the beak is overlapping on the far wing. The lighter ring on the outside of the red eye ring is natural.

Great light, good eye contact and yelling pose, I wish there were a bit beak/wing separation.

    Stuart:

Lovely light, calling pose, flared wing tips, great eye contact, exposure. Clouds a plus.
Agree with self critique about the bill/wing merge.

    Cheers

One great looking gull captured beautifully. Light ,Bg and detail as well as exposure are all spot on.

Those clouds in the background perfectly set up the gull. Great exposure and pose, the overlap, while not ideal, does not ruin this for me at all.

Stuart, Really nice gradient BG to make your gull stand out. I agree w/ the wing/bill merge comments. I like the underwing details and the sharp head.
