Im going to be spending a week in Corolla on the Outer Banks in NC. Its the northern most town accessable by road in the banks. I know the wild horses are just north of there. Anything of interest in the avian genre on the banks? Im going to be taking an overnite trip to Hatteras so stop offs possible. I have lots of time to kill.
Try contacting http://jaredlloydphoto.com/. He used to post here but haven't seen anything from him in a while. He took me out for the horses last year. I can't imagine anyone knowing more about the O.B. than him.
I was going to post the same question as I will be down there (Corolla) from 6/21 thru 6/27. I know there is a great place at the pea island reserve but that is a good hike from corolla and I'm not sure about the condition of the bridge.
