Very nice Troy, good detail and pose.
Natural light brings out the colours in the bird quite well.
I would trim a bit off the right side if it was mine.
LOL!
Nice catch.
Great colors, pose, and fine detail. Set off very well by the dark BG
A tad "centered" for my particular taste, but excellent as is.
Sandy
good suggestions above, loved the open bill and colours here..
Excellent open bill pose and colors here

yay to the spoonie, good job. even light and dark BG makes the spoonie stand out very well

Thank you all.
Arash, when are you going back to shoot there?
Troy:
Another vote for more space to the left.
Nice talking pose, well exposed, effective background
Cheers
Randy
Well exposed with lovely colours on the spoonbill, and well timed to get the open bill. Being a vertical, Im happy with the space on the left, although just a tad more wont harm this.

Thank you guys. I wanted to but Reddish egret got in the way.
I can stretch the canvas, another option.
Head angle good and ditto on the open bill. Yes to more room added in front of the bird.

YAW. Pointing the lens more to the left in the field would have been easier. General rule: you want twice as much room in front of the bird as behind. Here those distances are equal. That and tons more in ABP II :)
