shot in heavy shade of gorge in YNP. I was as close as I could get since the nest was across the gorge opposite from where I was standing. The nestlings probably fledged with 24-48 hours of when this image was shot as they were actively flapping their wings while standing on the nest's edge.

A cool behavior shot. Nice that you got all the fledglings begging. Interesting to me, is that the color of the inside of their mouths is red. I'm so use to seeing the insides of Bluebird mouths, which is more an orange color...just never thought about the insides of birds's mouths being different colors. lol Probably not something anyone else has thought about, either? lol
