    This is a time lapse of a storm we had last night. Taken with the D300s and 12-24 lens.

    Rod,
    This is really cool...I would like to know a little more information on capturing a time lapse...

    You are fortunate to have thunderstorms. Here in Northern California they are usually rare unless you go to the high country in the Sierra's which is on my list.

    Jerry all I did was set up the camera and recorded 5 min at a time than trimmed out the dead spots. I added the sound after all the lightning strikes were put togather. Rod

    It all came together and worked for me...if you search youtube ...There is not a better capture than what you have presented here...period.
