Hi Everyone,
Another offering for the project :)
Taken in SE Florida last autumn, Commercial Blvd Pier I think. I don't have the exif data to hand, but if memory serves me right it would have been the 50D, 500 f/4 with 1.4 TC. Only the basics in PP. I like the fact that he is moving out of the frame - this was a deliberate choice, as I am one of those who feels that this adds tension to an image...:D And of course you know that I love that 'bird in heaven' look :D
Look forward to your C & C's as always.
Best regards to all,
Nicki
Looking at it after posting, is it sharp enough??

Reason: Add info
Hey Nicki, just love the sand balancing on the beak, and I like the overall exposure. With regards to sharpness, I would maybe selectively sharpen the head and eye - that area seems softer than the rest of the plover.
Stuart, Peter and Fabs, thank you so much for your coments and suggestions.
Peter, I don't mind that you flipped the bird, but Fabs is right, I like to tread the less conventional road :) I will do a little more sharpening too!
Best,
Nicki
With all due respect to my good friend Nicki, the original composition does not make sense to me as I do not feel the tension at all. For that tack to work, the bird needs to be looking definitively out of the frame.....
