    Hi Jonathon,
    Sweet shot - I love the open bill and the side lighting works very well for me. The light coming through those tail feathers is quite lovely :)
    Off to the Farnes next weekend :D

    The back lighting did a good job of creating some translucence to the tail feathers, but I would have loved to have seen some fill-flash added to lighten the bird's body and wings. Good dynamic pose.
