    I hope I haven't posted this one in here....

Got this a few years ago not far from Sydney. I used the stacked converters as I wanted to avoid cropping much - this is about 75% of the frame

    Wow ! What a picture !!
May i ask to see the original JPG / RAW.
I ask because i think that with stack converter the quality is lower than with just the 2x.
Of course in these picture resize at 1000px we can't see the real picture.
What do you think about that ?
    Is better only a 2x ( using at f11 ) and crop a little
    OR
    Stack converter ( at f18 or f16 ) and don't crop ?

    Thanks

Simply superb close shot. The close up would be pointless except for that superb dragonfly. Can you crop to get the eye a little higher in the frame?

Regarding Marco's question. It seems to me that the image is showing detail not just sharpness so I think it a reasonable bet that the IQ is there?

Ofer, great shot, a bit more room on top would be even better.

Thanks for all your comments guys!
Marco, I am not sure how can you see the RAW file...
As to your questions - I haven't done a serious test but I feel stacking converters is not a good way as IQ suffers too much.
I think it is better to get as close as possible and crop. Obviousely it is not always possible so stacked converters is the only way in some situations and as you can see IQ is not that bad.
    Hope that helps,
    Cheers,
    Ofer

Pretty cool, sharpness looks good, not at least considering the stacked TCs. If anything, I would selectively sharpen the back of the dragonfly a bit more.
